Final Score: Hitchin 17 - 3 Walcountian Blues The Blues had given Hitchin a scare earlier in the season when the two teams played the league match at the Blues. Hitchin were determined not to let that happen again. Hitchin identified the Blues' main threats before the game started and worked out a plan for dealing with them. Luckily, Matt Bagley was missing. Although Hitchin had only 11 players this week, they started brightly and controlled posession well. Hitchin scored 3 unanswered gooals before Blues replied and Hitchin scored the last goal of the quarter to make it 4 - 1 at quarter time. During the second quarter, Bagley arrived, complaining about the directions on the SEMLA website! Hitchin had already begun to dominate and extended the score to 9 - 2 at half time. After the break, Hitchin continued their dominance. There were some well taken goals and the score was 13 - 3 at 3/4 time During the final quarter, both teams slowed down. Hitchin's 11 man squad began to tire but their defence held strong to shut out the Blues for the last quarter.
