Final Score: East Coast 14 - 13 Hitchin 'A' Hitchin were missing a few key players this week due to work committments and a car crash. The first quarter was evenly matched with both teams trading goals. In the second and third quarters Hitchin took control and dominated the game. With East Coast trailing by 1 goal in the 3rd qtr, Hitchin 'A' took advantage of the upper hand and scored 3 consecutive goals while two East Coast players served 1 min. penalties. The start of the fourth quarter saw the score at East Coast 7- 11 Hitchin 'A'. East Coast took the bull by the horns to start their come back and began to score from every angle. Unfortunately for Hitchin, there was a crucial own goal that seemed to revive East Coast. The last 10 minutes of play saw a hotly contested game but unfortunately Hitchin weren't able to convert their last minute posession into a goal, so East Coast walked away with a well fought win. Once again the experienced Hitchin 'A' side fought very hard in the fourth quarter that was so close it could have gone either way. Well played by everyone and well done to East Coast for playing a fanatastic fourth when everyone was tired and they were down a few goals.
