Hitchin 'A' looked like a well oiled team this week as they were on the attack from the start. They scored first and quickly followed it up with another. Hitchin's defence kept Cambridge at bay and they failed to score in the 1st quarter.

The 2nd quarter saw Hitchin playing well with end to end play. Cambridge had to fight hard for their 4 goals.

With Cambridge just ahead both teams had it all to fight for going into the 3rd quarter. With end to end play Hitchin scored 1 goal while Cambridge had 5 goals. The score line doesn't reflect the good team work displayed by Hitchin in the 3rd quarter, which saw a leaner Ray Harry contesting ground balls and running!! Cambridge had to work very hard for their goals in this quarter.

As the 4th quarter started Hitchin went all out in an attempt to turn things around. This began to pay off as they started to score. With more end to end play both teams were intent on winning! Hitchin went onto score 4 goals and Cambridge bagged 3.
